WHERE?
Hotel Troya Balat, is located at Fener-Balat district in the historic old city of Istanbul, right on the shores of the Golden Horn. This is a peaceful and historical neighborhood, at close proximity to the city’s cultural, touristic and trade attraction points in Sultanahmet and Beyoglu. Reaching to the main transportation hubs, such as airport, subway, ferry, and bus stations is fairly easy and straightforward from the hotel.

HOW TO GET?
Our hotel is right next to the Fener and Ayakapı bus stops, and Fener tram stop.
All the following buses end in Eminönü Station a few stops after the hotel, which is the transportation hub for ferries to Kadıköy (Asian Side) and T1 tramway line (the line which goes to Sultanahmet and Grand Bazaar) : 99, 99A, 99Y, 33ES, 36CE, 44B, 48E, 399B, 399C
Bus number 55T can take you to Şişhane Metro Station where you can get on the M2 metro line. (The metro map is at the bottom of the page) The bus finally reaches Taksim Square.
From Istanbul Airport, you can arrive at our hotel by taking the M11 line to Kağıthane, change to M7 line to Alibeyköy, and from Alibeyköy take the T5 line to Fener. Click here for the map of this route.
Sabiha Gökçen Airport is accessible by the M4 metro line in the Asian Side. Click here for details of this route.
From Istanbul Airport, you can take Havaist(click to open) shuttle buses to Taksim, Eminönü, or Ayvansaray stops. These buses cost 87 TL (Jan 2023), and take off nearly every 20 mins.
When you arrive at the final stop, you can take city buses (numbers given above: 55T from Taksim, 99, 99A, 99Y, 33ES, 36CE, 44B, 48E, 399B, 399C from Eminönü) or a taxi to our hotel. Taxis will cost about 50 TL nearly from each of the stops.
From Sabiha Gökçen Airport, you can take Havabus(click to open) shuttle bus to Taksim. From there, you can take a taxi or a bus (no : 55T)
A taxi from Istanbul Airport costs about 800 TL (Jan 2024), and a taxi from Sabiha Gökçen Airport costs about 1300 TL .
